How the Group Stage Works
Each team will play against every other team in their group once. This means each side will get at least three matches. The point system is simple: two points for a win, one point for a tie or no result, and zero for a loss. If teams finish with equal points, their positions and future in the tournament will be determined by Net Run Rate (NRR). The leading two teams from both of the group will advance to the next big and tough Super Four stage.
The Super Four and the Final
Super Four stage is going to be most exciting thrilling nail biting and high pressure time fot the top four teams, and it will be the highlights of this Asia Cup. Instead of going straight to semifinals, the top two teams from each group will form one group of four. Each team will again play three matches against the others. Points will work the same way, and NRR will decide in case of ties. After the toughest Super Four stage, the top two teams will meet each other in the grand final, at the 28th of september.
